THE YOSHIMURA LEGEND
SINCE 1954

1954:
Founded in 1954 by Hideo “Pop” Yoshimura in Fukuoka, Japan, the company began as a small motorcycle tuning shop. Pop Yoshimura, leveraging his experience as an aircraft mechanic during World War II, gained recognition for his exceptional engine tuning skills, particularly among American servicemen stationed in Japan, earning him the nickname “God Hand”.
1973:
Yoshimura expanded internationally by establishing Yoshimura Racing in the United States, which later became Yoshimura Research & Development of America. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Yoshimura achieved significant success in motorcycle racing, including victories at the Daytona Superbike and the Suzuka 8 Hours endurance races. The company’s close relationship with Suzuki led to its team becoming the official Suzuki factory racing team in the United States.
1994:
After Pop Yoshimura’s passing in 1995, his son, Fujio Yoshimura, took over the company, continuing its legacy of innovation and excellence in motorcycle performance. Under his leadership, Yoshimura developed groundbreaking products like the Duplex Cyclone exhaust system, Tri-Oval silencer, and the MJN carburetor, further cementing its reputation in the industry.

Producing premium exhausts for motocross / supercross, enduro / adventure, sports ATV’s, alongside popular street models.
IN-HOUSE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
In-house engineers and expert fabricators build custom tooling and develop manufactuering techniques to ensure precision perfect fitment for every product & application.
ADVANCED ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY
Using a Faro Arm Laser Scanner, technicians scan areas of the motorcycle, collecting data points of interest, and transfer this to a CAD program. Engineers use this information to instantly develop exhaust systems in 3D.
MANUFACTURING & WORKS FINISH
A significant increase in accuracy and efficiency is thanks to investment in the latest in electronic tube bending, laser cutting and welding machinery. Furthermore, expert TIG welders fuse brackets and mounts to the final product.
